「Going to a Pharmacy」(上藥局買藥)

Yesterday I went to a pharmacy that provides patients counseling because I had a headache and a sore throat.
Yesterday I went to a chemist who gives patients advice because my head was killing me and my throat was all scratchy.

The pharmacist suggested that I take some painkillers to ease the pain, and she also advised that I take some flu medicine.
The chemist recommended that I take some anesthetics to relieve the pain and also urged me to take some flu medicine.

Then I told the pharmacist about my sleeping problems and asked her if I could get some sleeping pills.
Then I told the chemist about my insomnia and implored her to give me some sedatives.

However, she said that a doctor's prescription is required to buy sleeping pills because they can be deadly if used improperly.
However, she said that a physician's prescription is required to buy sedatives because they can be fatal if used improperly.

I went home with some over-the-counter painkillers that day. After all, it was way easier than going all the way to the clinic.
